We provide teaching for parents/carers and field workers who work with people with disabilities. This is in the form of workshops and when working hands on with individuals with disabilities. APA provides therapy and nursing support, wheelchair proviion, set ups and maintenance. We also can build basic accessible bathrooms, ramps and paths. APA ships equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers and commodes to the Pacific Islands.

You can donate online via our website or through bank transfer. Donations are tax-deductible in New Zealand.

We have very few and light overheads as we are all volunteers and no office as such, so almost all donations are used to send volunteers to the Islands or to ship wheelchairs and other equipment.

APA welcomes donations that are paid into the bank account regulalry; these form the backbone of our income. You can either do this directly via your bank or using the subscription option on our website donation page.

Yes, we welcome volunteers with background in providing therapy and wheelchair services to people with disabilities.
